re National Saving Certificates!

I have recently found a couple of my late fathers NSC Holders cards. they are buff coloured,9 cm square with a ''Holders regd.Number'' They are date stamped 1946 and 1947.Should I dump them or do they have some significance? Anybody know?

If they are just the cards with a registered number (not certificates themselves) then they have no value.

Could still be worth checking that all his certificates HAVE been cashed - the registered number will help in this.

The minimum you should do is put the holders number into the 'have I won' section to see if there is an unclaimed prize associated with them.
