Buying Fuel in Germany

Is it cheaper to take Euros to buy fuel, or pay for it on a UK debit or credit card?

There's no simple answer. It can go either way.

It depends where you get your euros here, and what UK cards you are using.

If you want a generalisation a UK credit card will be cheaper in nearly every circumstance. The same does not necessarily apply to debit cards.
