Made me think after losing my mum a few weeks ago,sent off for the asda pack and awaiting the sunlife direct one,any other insurance company i should be looking at?

I suspect you shouldn't be looking at insurance companies at all - these 'over 50s life policies' are generally extremely poor value.

A proper funeral plan is a better idea - or just standard savings of some sort.
