My wife and I are spending 18 days in September visiting South Africa as part of a SAGA organised tour.

Apart from the last 4 days, all meals are included, so we will only need spending money - drinks , souveniers etc.

What is the best currency to take? Do

How available are ATM's out there?

Any other tips, hints etc would be appreciated.

Also do we need to take anti malaria tablets?

Thanks in advance,

if that's one of their World in One Country trips, yes, you'll need malaria tablets.
