credit card to current account

due to the incompetence of a certain company who were supposed to refund money back onto my current account debit card have refunded the money on a credit card instead, which is my partners.

I need this money in my current account, so is there a way of getting the money from her credit card to my current account?

Thinking of maybe ringing up to see if they can do it over the phone.

Assuming she uses the credit card when she gets her next bill it'll be lower than expected, so could she just give you the cash or a cheque to cover the amount either now or when her credit card bill comes in?

She could get the money out from a cash machine but then she will pay extra interest and possibly a handling charge.

You certainly couldn't do it.

A company is legally obliged to make refunds to the card that was used to make the payment. They have no choice about it.

If your debit card was used to fund the payment, complain to the company and tell them to sort it out.
