i am trying to set up for online banking with HSBC. I have a solo livecash card. I have done quite well so far :) but im stuck - what is my security number? where can i find it? i thought it was my pin number but apparently not. thanks!

You set up the security number when you open your account - its a 6 digit memorable number that can be anything but your birthday (I think). If you dont have it/ dont remember it, phone up HSBC or stop by a branch and they should be able to help you out.
Your security number is a 3 digit number above your signature.  
You have to go into a branch to set up internet banking properly, answer a few questions and sort out a 6 digit security number as Lotus said. It only takes about 5 mins.
