Sorry for the maybe dumb question.

I earn £490 a month.

I started my job 01/03/2010.

I get a 0.5% increase in my wages and it's going to be backdated from March 2010.

How much extra will i get?

I'm so bad at maths ;-0

490 / 200 = 2.45
£2.45= 0.5% of £490. Times twelve is £28.90.
Sorry, 2.45 a month. so if it's back dated one year 2.45 * 12 = 29.40

That 50p made all the difference Sandy!
True. It might as well be in Yellownana's pocket rather than sitting in an employers bloated bank account.
