i'm trying to find out when our building was built, i know it was purpose built for us and we moved in, in 96 so it must be 95/96 but the surveyors are being knobs and want a more precise date and i can;t find it anywhere.

the land registry has title docs but not sure if this is what i want and i don;t want to buy them if its not got the right info

we've changed hands since then, fook knows where the info is and anyone who is still here who was around then - they can only just about remember moving in and that's it. i might just lie to him and invent a date :-)
It might have gone through your local Building Regs people Fluffers. They should have records you could go and have a look at. Building Control comes under District Council Planning dept. :o)
