how do housing executive work housing benefit out ?

our rent is £500 per month, our housing benefit maximum allowance is £93.50 per week (payed every 4 weekly ) how do they work it out if say in july there is 31 days ? obviously 4 weeks and 3 days.

you said you get paid 4 weekly not monthly so there may be months when you get paid twice in that month. You need to budget so that you dont spend the funds before you pay the landlord.

They would make 13 payments per year (every 4 weeks) rather than 12. Work out the balance between what they would pay in 13 payments and the total rent for the year. Divide the balance by 12 and pay that each month

Hi kinell- goldenbolls does say "maximum allowance" so I assume he is not entitled to get all his rent paid.
I'm not sure what's confusing about it, goldebolls. Many benefits are paid weekly. You just happen to pay your rent monthly.
