Last summ the cash machine at the local shop swizzed me of £20 and I was unable to get it back from the machine operators. Since then I haven't used it as I don't trust it. Used it today though and it gave me £20 extra (checked my account over the phone and the extra hasn't been deducted from my account). I'd say we are evens now.

sherredk....no! no! it wasn't a mistake....the Cash Machine remembered that it short changed you last year......clever these machines ;-)
go back and have another go you my get one up on it
Last year my wife used an ATM outside a Supermarket. She requested £80.00 and the machine delivered nothing. Checked inside the store who told her it was nothing to do with them, phone your bank. She went back to the machine and looking closely at the slot she could see the notes. She managed to pull £60.00 out. After complaining to her bank the £80.00 debit never appeared on her statement.
once about 15 years ago on a very frost night wanted £20 out and it gave me £70 ? well i never said anything and i never heard anything about it or nor was it debited from my account i put it down to extreme cold lol
have had said machine eat my card, had to order new 1,as machine mulched card! nice or what
Could be, but be warned these machines are the devils spawn. One chewed my card for no reason, good thing it was my bank, so went in and asked for my card back, "oh no madam we can't do that, too busy", so i stood my ground and made a fuss, got my card back, the staff member had a face on her like a smacked backside, like its so much trouble to open the ****** machine.
