hello...after 4 mths off work with stress i have decided to resign...my sickline and thus resignation date is for dec 15th....my employer has sent out voluntary redundancy letters...i have not recieved mine yet.....am i entitlted to the package? i have worked with the company for 14 years..live in northern ireland...

If you have resigned then I guess you have saved your employer from having to offer you redundancy terms.
you said it yourself, you decided to resign.

You will not be made redundant from your job as you will have already left.
No if you have resigned you are out of the picture already, pity you did not have any idea the reundancies were being discussed before putting in your resignation.
oh dear would have been a few grand too .
How can you expect a redundancy package when you've already resigned?
