Bank of Ireland Fixed Term Accounts
5 Answers
I notice that Moneysupermarket.com does not list Bank of Ireland products. From visiting the BOI site I see that there is an 18-month fixed term deposit scheme on offer at 5.60% gross/ 3.70% AER which seems to me to be worthy of being drawn to savers' attention. Are sites such as Moneysupermarket sponsored by Banks etc, thereby showing only their sponsors' offers? Are readers aware of other offers out there which are competitive and which do not appear on these sites?

Earn 5.60% gross1 / 3.70% AER2 fixed

The 5.6% is for the whole term, not per year.
Very naughty and misleading, in my opinion.
