Can anyone please tell me :-
a) Is child benefit still paid weekly on Tuesdays
b) How were JSA and other benefits paid over Xmas/New Year, in other words were they paid in advance because of the Bank Holidays and how many weeks were paid at once.

My child benefit gets paid monthly.

a: as far as I know it still is.
b: if JSA or the like was due to be paid on the Monday/Tuesday after Xmas then it was paid before Xmas.
