Warm Home Discount Scheme

I hate all these energy companies. I applied for the warm home discount scheme which I am entitle to on 31 October 2011 and Scottish Power who I am unfortunately with for a prepayment meter have until 31st March to apply the money to the key, I believe that they are waiting as long as possible before they pay the money once again ripping off customers. Has anyone had their money applied to their account or key yet. ??

I am with Npower and mine was put on my account before Xmas also a friend who is with Eon and on a key also added before Xmas

The core group people on pension credit got theirs first, around December I think and it was an automatic payment, you did not have to apply. The broader group will be paid by 31st March. Not everyone in broader group will get money as there is a limited amount of funds available. I am with Scottish Power and applied on the opening day 1/11/2011 and am still waiting to hear.

I phoned up and created a hell of a fuss and they are now going to give me a cheque once the money has been applied to the key. You should do the same phone the customer complaints department
