Any idea on the most cost effective way of doing this? I'm repaying a loan (she's effectively giving me a private mortgage) so will be making these payments for several years. The transfers can be weekly, monthly or whatever but I'm looking for the cheapest solution. Once Ive done the transfer it doesnt really matter if it takes a little longer to reach her account, as long as it gets there!

Thanks in advance!

you can ask your bank about standing order from your account to your aunts account. if they dont do it because its abroad, ask them how much bank transfer would cost. i remember not many years ago i paid £15 fee to send 3 grand to Turkey.western union also comes to mind but they will charge some amount fee for the thousand euros you will be sending every month. good luck.
does she have a sterling account?
Can u set up a savings acc here and then wire her money every quarter?
you can set up a repetitive relay payment from your account to hers usually costs approx £10 ask your bank for details.
