Although I've had a Fiat Qubo for 2 years I've just discovered I have no spare wheel or re-inflation kit. Before I go back to the garage where i bought the car from as new, I wondered if anyone could offer any advice. The model is a 5-door 2010 1.4. What wheel size should I be looking for as I don't fancy the re-inflation kit? I think it is possible to attach a spare under the boot of the car but I could be wrong.
Sorry, that ^^^^^ does sound a bit harsh by itself, what I was thinking was, Haven't you checked your tyre pressures during that time, maybe thought to check the spare wheel pressure at the same time, just to see if it was OK if needed, at which point ..........

No space saver tyre under boot floor, Hopkirk. And Baldric, in that time have done less than 5000 miles and left servicing to contract with suppliers. I drive as little as possible and car can lie unused for many days at a time - and that's with 2 drivers. Mea culpa but it's only a convenience in which I take little pleasure. Have checked through manuals etc but can get no real indication of the type of tyre/wheel I should be looking for. PS This is the third time it's been back to the dealers for service, etc and they've only just mentioned it!
Can you not ask the Garage where you purchased the car if the car came with a spare? If it did, ask them where have they put it, as you have no idea where it is, no, not a stupid reply in case others think, they might not have put it in the car when you picked it up, or there could be a kit that you use to re-inflate the tyre.
are you 100% sure it hasnt an inflation kit ? it could be tucked away in a cubbyhole somewhere....It would be extremely unusual from new not have either.
My son-in-law had the same issue with a Renault he was ready for a big argument with the dealer until i showed him where it was hidden(behind a trim in the 1/4 panel)
Thanks again people. I've been in touch with the garage 3 times and each time they said they would call back. So far no response but as they are closed at the weekend I'll have to wait until monday to resolve this
