Hi, in 2006 (age 19) I was stupidly cautioned with ABH by Kent police. I was so scared of the police I took the caution but didn't realise the hassle it would give me throughout life and in my line of work requiring security checks.
I didn't receive any formal paperwork of any sort, never was asked to attend a police station, and was never arrested.
I believe it is now stepped down and doesn't show on Standard CRB checks which is fine for this country.
I've worked for a few years in the US, and since I was never arrested, one visa officer told me I didn't need to disclose it, another said I did (that happens all the time). I did, and got the visa.

My question is: can I get this caution expunged??? I don't believe I was briefed on the consequences fully, and was pressured into the caution acceptance.
And I'm not sure if procedure was followed in issuing the caution to me.
I'm trying to make contact with the person who accused me, as the may be willing to help. I don't think they realised what a caution would do to me either.

Kent police do list a document outlining the expunging guidelines and I believe I fit. Will they listen? And will it allow me visa waiver us travel in future?

You can only apply for it and see what happens.
As to the USA I think that once you have a visa it applies for life , but if nothing more happens you should be able to use it again.
