Tax Free Mileage Allowance For Own Cars Used On Company Business

Bit of an odd question, but I'm trying to find the tax free mileage allowance from 1990 to 2000.

Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

I have quite a bit of experience of business mileage issues and tax but I can't immediately work out what you mean. Do you mean the 1990-2000 rates equivalent to the current HMRC rates of 45p a mile for the first 10000 miles and then a lower rate thereafter?

That's easy then. The rate has hardly changed for 25 years. It was 40p a mile in the 1990s. It's now 45p.
