Amazon Postal Charges
43 Answers
Was going to buy some very boring toothbrush heads from Amazon. Has been a while since I have ordered from them, but the delivery options have changed!
I was offered super saver delivery as a free trial, but didn't tick that box as I just know I would forget to cancel after the trial and get a monthly charge.
On a £9.95 product I clicked the next best thing, which I think was 2 day delivery..........that was a whopping £5.01!
Then I spotted the pick up for a store near you, figuring that may be cheaper. It was not. That would cost me £6.01!
Have decided to pay a little more for the product in Boots, because it's a darn sight cheaper now they have changed their postal rates.
Good news for the High Street, perhaps?

I have no excuse for using Amazon really as I live slap bang in the middle of a town centre! I went on because it was a cheaper (I thought!). Well it is, until you factor in the postage!
I can't see how 3 toothbrush heads could cost over five quid to post! Nor why it is more expensive to pick up in a store near you. Strange.
