Motobility - Better For Mum?
My mother is thinking of buying a new vehicle and she has the cash to buy outright if that gets her a better deal.
She is entitled to lease a car on the Motobility Scheme which means she would be spending her £220 a month mobility allowance but would keep her capital.
What is better for her, financially?

I helped my next door neighbour to do all the sums and he decided the best deal was to get a 'motability' car. The allowance only goes towards a certain level of car, but if you want you can a bit to get a 'better' car.
Don't be afraid to play the Dealers off against each other either, they want to sell you a car!!!

As slackalice says but the advance payments are quite reasonable

We have a motability car, some cars are available for no advance deposit , then there are bigger more expensive ones where you have to pay an advance payment to get them. Financially there is no comparison get the motability car!
A new car looses 30% minimum the second you take delivery,so buy a car for £15,000 on Monday and by Tuesday it is worth £10,000.With Motability you get a new car every 3 years.
