i'm dating a man who is 9 months discharged from Bankruptcy, are there mortgages for this type of person?

i'm not linked to my partner financially but i would like to buy a property with him. is this possible? do banks consider this type of borrower ... ever?

It can be bad enough getting a mortgage even with a CCJ against your name so being bankrupt can be a big problem in this regard.

If your partner is 9 months discharged from bankruptcy there most certainly are options available to you. As you know the rules regarding bankruptcy changed on 1st April 2004 and therefore significantly changing the length of time that restrictions are placed upon bankrupts.
