I have been looking at changing and First:Utility comes top on all comparison sites. They have had some awful reviews for service. Maybe those with good service do not bother. Anyone got anything good to say about them.

Well, First Utility doesn't do that well in this Which? report...there are others that are as cheap but do better in other areas:

I have been with First Utility since last November without any problems.

I send my monthly meter readings and they produce a monthly bill. I download the bill and save it into a folder. When I signed up they estimated my monthly payment at £111 on my consumption figures. They have just reduced it to £76. No doubt it will go up sometime in the future.

I have no complaints, yet!

Been with them for a few years and they have been excellent. Not much more I can say. They do what they are supposed to and have done nothing wrong. I have renewed fixed rate deals at least twice and they provided me with a free smart meter so no meter readings required.
