I've Finally Got An Engagement Ring!

I'm over the moon!
Over 13 years ago, myself and OH became engaged. Now, imagine the scenario - romantic/ or not as you like - on the way to Ikea, I was about to embark to a new job miles and miles away after having fallen in love with said OH only 6 months previously. As an outdoor adventure instructor on 'apprentice' wages, it would mean no access to phones regularly as PAYG was expensive at that time and the majority of the daily 24hrs was dedicated to looking after a rabble of excited children & teachers.
OH said (in the car on the way to Ikea the day before) 'Ehum, even though I know you need to go, but I don't want you to'.
*looks exchanged, and tears started to fall. The car was pulled over to the side of the road*
Silence. More tears and hugs (in a bloomin' layby - I ask you...)
I looked at him, he looked at me - 'Will you marry me?'
I realised that I couldn't love anyone as much as him and my heart was his. Yes!
It was spur of the moment and no ring acquired pre-emptively, and we couldn't afford an engagement ring at the time, and since then have been looking (yes, admittedly we still aren't married, but these things take time you understand) However, I spotted the most beautiful antique diamond ring on ebay 13 years later - this morning (still couldn't afford the full asking price, but it was definitely 'The One') and made a silly offer on it of half it's asking price, and the wonderful lady seller accepted! WOOHOO! I sent her a very nice message explaining the story and thanking her afterwards which she had a giggle at.
Sorry if I am rambling, I'm just over the moon! :-)
