Lost Money

Have you ever lost money through carelessness? eg dropping it?

Yep. I'm terrible for it. I'm not trusted to carry cash, or even my cash card. Mr.AC keeps it on him - it feels like I'm asking my parents for pocket money when I need to take it (cash/card)

In the past I have, yes.

Handed over a £20 note and thought I'd put the £15 in notes in my wallet, along with the rest of the change. Went in the wallet the next day and there were no notes left. It's upsetting, but it happens.

Hows about taking £50 out the cash machine and walking away before the money comes out? That count!!

Thru carelessness? Yes, story of my life. Altho the carelessness seems to arise in picking the wrong man.

So in my next life, I shall just find a man I dont like and give him the lot.

I once lost £600 that I dropped in the street, it was in an envelope. I realised when I got home 20 minutes later. I immediately ran back to town to search, I searched in a waste bin and there it was, somebody must have put it there! amazing!!

Once...and it was the only money I had on me. It was only £20. I'd taken my nan to see my grandad (she was in a care home) and needed a few bits on the way back. I found out I'd lost at the checkout.....embarrassing!

I mislaid my Co-op dividend vouchers that I'd been saving (last year) from when they arrived in April until December (so that I could buy a buy a bottle of something rather nice with them). I spent many, many hours looking for them across several weeks in December, knowing that they expired at the end of the year, but without success. I found them on January 2nd :(

does anybody remember loons from the 70s? i had a pair in navy blue there was no waistband and no pockets. i had a £20 note tucked into the band at the top of the pants by the time i got home sayanora.
i was burgled at home in sydney, my wallet was stolen and a tool set, don't know how much was in the wallet.

One time, after using the bar's washroom, I was walking back to the bar stool I had been sitting on and noticed a $50 bill under it. I scooped it up and put it in my pocket thinking "Hey, this is a bonus!" A little while later, I decided to count my money and guess what? It was my own $50 that I had "found":)...I's amazing nobody else had spied it!
