Rdif Credit/debit Card Scam

As most cards seem to have this rdif sign I have found a cheap way to secure my cards. Bought a nice cigarette case from a charity shop, checked it snapped shut tightly & only paid £1.50!
As it is very slim it holds 3/4 cards safely & fits neatly in a handbag/pocket.

Contact your bank and ask for a card without the feature.

To Rockyracoon. Check out various web site re rdif. some of the reviews on the Amazon site have buyers saying their's have come apart or the hinges broke.
After checking I have 2 of these cards,so the cigarette case is slim..
The Wallets for sale are probably ok if you carry several cards but they seem to be quite bulky.

It's not really a scam though is it. It's an idiocy and an unnecessary risk.
Plus a way to spend your money without realising how quickly you are going through it.

Smart cards (which your post clearly refers to) don't use RFID technology:

Yes interesting, I just read debit card and made the leap, smart card is a new term to me.
