I have just qualified as an aromatherapist and am wanting to start a business in blending oils for clients ailments.
Can any one advise how to set up a website how can I advertise for customers? I have about £200 I can use for start up fees.

To setup a website you need a name and some hosting.

Some internet providers give you hosting as part of your package, some don't.

Some name companies also offer hosting.

I've used 123reg for the name and then free hosting for the site.

Some companies offer name, hosting and website builders eg. wix, godaddy

Shop around - check costs, hosting capacity and bandwith restrictions.

One of the easiest things to do is set up a business facebook page.... share with your facebook friends and get them to share onwards..... ours gets to people from all over the place now. It helps to get your name and business idea out there... you will need a business website too .... we have both for our business and have found both helpful.

Remember not everybody has internet, so include contact details on any posters.

Again not everybody has Facebook or Twitter, so don't limit yourself to them.

Personally I prefer to see landline numbers as a contact rather than just a mobile number.
