Henry have you not had your personalised pension statement yet? I got mine in February.

The increase in the basic state retirement pension is 2.9%. However, in contrast to previous years, there is no increase in the state graduated pension. Only a modest amount, of course, but no mention that I have seen that there would no longer be any inflation protection for this element. This looks like an Osborne dirty trick, worthy of Gordon Brown at his worst.
