Card Issuer Has Declined My Payment ????????????

on my betfair online gambing account i have used same card this last 2 years with 1000,s going in - out.

i tried to place a bet just now but card issuer declined . why could this be ? i was in my bank today and i have available funds in my account.

Simply miskeying a digit (e.g. on the security code) can be a good enough reason for your transaction to be declined. Unusual activity on your account can also trigger problems. (Have you made any large or unusual purchases within the past few days?).

As Psybbo as just reminded me, you've got a pending transaction with BravoFly. That alone can be enough to temporarily freeze an account.

Amex twice declined my card in M&S despite a high available credit limit and a direct debit in place to pay it off every month. When I rang them they just said sorry and offered no explanation
