Two Pension Schemes.......

I have a personal pension which I pay into and my work also has one which they pay into. from next year that will stop and if I want to increase it I have to pay into my works one as well.
my question is..........are you allowed to pay into two pensions at once. I know years ago you were not allowed to. thanks,.

I was in this situation and since the works one was performing well and was better managed than the old one, ie money invested and reviewed when appropriate, l consolidated them.
