Hello there. I am E. B., 16 years old, and live in Cape Town, South Africa, I have no money, my parents aren't able to get much money, we cannot afford a vehicle, so we use the still limited bus service here, I am tutoring a friend (probably the only decent friend I have ever had) but the money that comes out of it is incredibly little, about $10 every 2 weeks. I need a computer for school and I cannot afford it. If I want decent time to study I can’t do much more to earn than tutoring. I’m good at baking, but my school does not allow me to sell anything for some stupid reason, the area in which I live has nothing that allows me to sell my things without paying a lot of money for it. What should I do? Please advice, I am desperate! Thanks in advance.

have you got a red cross office or organisation where you are, ?
as they can be very helpful.
I'm unfamiliar with the situation in SA but from what you have told us I think something has to give. If the school requires you to have a computer then why haven't they provided computing facilities ? Is there a library that allows access to a computer ? Do you really need one or is it simply useful to have ? Could you complete schooling without one then in a few years get a full time job and save up enough to get one to take evening courses with ? Perhaps the answer is to plan longer term.
