It depends upon how you want to accept payments. The cheapest way (in terms of webhosting costs) is to accept payments via PayPal Express Checkout. That enable your customers to pay by card but you'll have to pay PayPal for handling transactions. Alternatively you can pay more for your webhosting package so that you can take card payments directly.
