Online Currency Trading Platform In Uk

Has anyone in the UK heard of, or is using an online currency trading platform/service (no brokers involved). The concept is simple. You transfer money out of your UK bank account to the exchange bureau (online exchange bureau) and then you can buy or sell different currencies of your choice. You may choose to trade/have the money sent to your nominated bank account following trading. All I have found so far is services like post office where one can buy/sell currencies. This is not what I want as I want to be able to quickly sell what I have without having access to paper money.
