Does anyone remember their old Co-op divi number? My mum used to send me to our local Co-op and I still remember the divi number, it was 128161.

Yes, 14194. Not been used for over 50 years but it was drilled into me. I always had to make sure I came back with the check.
30724........I chanted it all the way from home to the Co-op for fear of forgetting it......
When I'm old, dippy and forgetful I'll still be saying....30724.. :-)
1094 yes and dare not forget it lol
I can even remember my great-aunt's - 941.
393 upto about 1960 then it went to 6 figures, still ending in 393 but can't remember the first bit. Didn't have to chant it though as the Co-op was about 30 yards from our house at the time.

I remember when they stopped the divi and replaced it by stamps. Must have been early 70s. Each stamp was worth 1/3p!

We never referred to it as the Co-op, it was always the 'store'. Everyone knew what it meant.

Mother's number was 568, easy. When me and my school friend were old enough, 16 I think, we got our own Co-op numbers and used them to cream off the divi when we were sent to buy stuff at the Co-op.

I have to confess.
I would not have got away with that. I had to bring back the check with the change and woe betide me if I lost it.
18352, I THINK- I'm not good at numbers, but it was drilled into me.

Yes I do!
I worked in the co op many years ago. I remember filling the slips in the passbook (and adding up the page). I also worked in the office upstairs for a time. All those slips turned up there, and we had to put them in numerical order, and stick them on a sheet, so that the co op would have a record of the customers transactions. There were about 25 girls working in this office. This was in the 1950's
