Is there any way to, on the UK mainland, trade in Jersey bank notes for mainland Sterling at parity rather than at a mark-down ? Only a few notes are involved including some £1 ones.

Whilst I've never tried, I'd suspect most places that provide a service will want to profit from it. Pity you don't know someone in Jersey with a few UK £s.
