I have just come into 1500. I want to invest it for approx 10 years, and obviously want the best growth. I would be prepared to put in medium to high risk. What should I do?

No, don't do that. An investment in just one company is putting all your eggs in one basket. Opt either for a good UK growth unit trust, or perhaps an equity income unit trust and have all the income reinvested. And although over five years you probably wouldn't make enough profit to exceed your Capital Gains allowance, I'd put it in an ISA wrapping anyway so that it's tax free.
