Dates On Cvs
10 Answers
Having gone through all my papers, I’ve just realised I don’t have a copy of my CV. Not intending on moving jobs in the near future but I’d like to have one typed up just so I know I’ve got one to hand. I’ve been in my current job over 25 years and know my start date. I had three other jobs before that but honestly can’t remember the dates (even the years) that I worked in those places. Not even sure how long I was there for each one as it’s so long ago.
So how do I get around this on my CV. I know it’s not on any job website (it was still old school last time I applied for a job) so not sure what to do.

Certainly for dates going back over 25 years I wouldn't worry- there's a good chance the old employer no longer exists or no-one there would be able to give a reference
