with Kaspersky Internet security over the problems i am having
with it, its an 0203 number but connects to long distance by the sounds of
it. What do you get charged for, international call or local call.....

i do have a call package with my internet provider for landline, and get free calls to 01, 02, 03 and mobile numbers.

It's included in your package...if you ring an 02 number, it doesn't matter where the call ends up!

if you just use your internet for browsing etc and not business or gaming .get rid of kapersky there plenty of free antivirus / security programmes to down load myself i just have the windows 10 default security, more than adequate for my needs

i have paid 17 quid for it, and am still having problems, this is the first time i have had them. Normally it loads, click on whatever and away you go... not this time..

They’re a London based number Emmie but they’ll no doubt outsource their calls to India or somewhere like that, it should be a local charge

Emmie, I have to agree with Derek^^^

You really don't need it. If you have Windows 7, then Windows Security Essentials (plus maybe Malwarebytes for occasional malware scans) is all most people need.

If Windows 10, then either Windows Defender, or its later replacement (built in to the system) will do the job.

I endorse what Builder says, you really don't need it, Widows Defender is now sufficient - I was so informed by a real computer nerd, paying extra is unnecessary.

Marwarebytes doesn't half slow down your computer too.

The thing with Malwarebytes, K, is to only run it when you feel like having a scan, or if a problem crops up.

It doesn't actually have to be running in the background if you prefer it not to.

I agree with those who say you don’t need it.
I once had a conversation with one of the biggest computer nerds I’ve ever met and he swore you don’t need any form of virus protection at all!
I wouldn’t want to go that far mind you.
