How are all those brave people who are trying to change their lives by renovating these beautiful chateaus managing these last few months. They are working so very hard.

I should imagine they are getting by like everyone else, some very brave people are risking their lives daily - some of us are only slightly inconvenienced.

Those two are both very bright, I guessed LindyLou meant during the lockdown - takings will slump this year for all venues.

Some will recover,some won't.

No doubt they'll manage. They didn't renovate that place alone and solely on the shoestring budget that was portrayed in the programme.

I could never understand the French mentality.I plumbed in a friend's farmhouse in Brittany about 30 years ago.It needed a septic tank etc. The house was built of granite and built to last. We converted the attic/hayloft into several rooms. He bought the property for a song . It was one of many such properties in the area and all owned by Brits who renovated them. I often wondered why the French, themselves ,were happy to see this beautiful buildings fall into disrepair. :-(

Dick and Angel are both very talented but they will be raking it in from the TV series. The non-famous ones are possibly struggling.
