No maybe omicron is no more dangerous than the flu for mist people... but delta and previous ones certainly wasn't... you have completed misunderstood ukanonymous. I never had friends family colleagues covid and with longterm flu effects 12 months after but have with covid.
Have you checked on the excess deaths for 2020 and 2021.

Don't explain the very busy itu wards does it. All it does is confirm what we know...most at risk of Death were those with other conditions or old... who may have caught it from younger healthier ones

my local hospitals are open for business, having been in one just before Christmas.

Not shut down at all. Just more telephone gp consultations and non urgent cases deffered. I know people who still had treatment... don't know of anyone personally who died because treatment closed for 2 years
