Almost 40% of FTSE 100 Company's Boards are female.

You're making progress, but the headline is misleading as a significant number are non-Executive roles.

So, keep attacking that glass ceiling ladies, and Good Luck.

completely irrelevant - can they do a good job ?
It should be 52%. It isn't the women that need to make progress.
51% now, sorry.
why does sex matter? it's about ability, end of.
"it's about ability, end of."

"Just 13.5% of the executive director positions were held by women in 2021, down from 14.2% the year before."

Are men's abilities so much more different from women's that an executive director is 6.5 times as likely to be a man than a woman?
Its not as simple as saying it should be 50:50 though is it.

However unfair it is many women make time for children and so are out of the workplace, this means their experience drops and in some cases for quite a few years.

Having said that I think there is still a way to go but we will get there. The important thing is that it is done on merit not tick boxing otherwise it demeans the achievements of those that have worked hard and are good at their job.
It's not only merit though. It also depends on who those "in charge" are most comfortable with. AB taught me that.
would they be the ironing boards ?

Am I Right ?
