For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Some of the sellers look as though they get them from used stamps collected for charity - you know, you tear the corner that has the stamp off the envelope, collect them up and take them to your favourite charity which sells them to a stamp dealer for a few pence(??) a kilo.
The stamp dealer then sorts out those that are worth while and dumps the rest - hopefully in a recycling skip.
Some of those worth while will be those that missed the franking machine when they were used. Soak them off the paper, put a batch together and sell them.....
It's illegal but undetectable if the stamps are genuine in the first place. At least one of the e-bay dealers is selling an unsorted batch for you to do the work.
