Hi , was wondering how to find out if any politicians / members of parliament are directors/owners of the new flood of companies benefitting from government subsidies and handouts for the BDUK Superfast broadband rollouts.
Specifically Toob and swish, who are attempting to overlay current underground fed housing estates with telegraph poles with very little understanding of the localised services in the ground already.

That would be awful - we have no overhead cabling here (and had no outdoor TV aerials until the sky dishes reared their ugly heads!)

There's also the latest MPs' register of interests you can search. I looked for Toob and Swish and found nothing but you can check again.

There is a register of MP's Financial Interests. Here, for example, is that for Rees-Mogg. There appears to be a minimum level before a shareholding or property interest has to be registered.

Otherwise, as stated above, you can uses Companies House records, but of course you have to know the Company name. If you locate an appropriate Company, you can then look at the Company's website which may give other holdings for a Director.

Incorrect. You can search by ‘officers’.

Given there are 650 MPs and more than 800 Lords, although a search by name on the Companies House website is an option, unless you have specific individuals in mind, searching by company name is the easier option.
