Tooth Brush Farm

I am looking to grow toothbrushes. Do you get a better yield if you plant the brush or the handle in the soil? I have a lot of sand content in my soil so I am worried it won’t grow. I asked Barclays for a business loan and they said I should see a Psychiatrist, a bit rude!!
