Lol, of course not, she’s already transgressed enough!
From another source.
Liz Truss is coming under criticism - and also drawing support - for her statement last night that she would not commit to appointing an independent ethics adviser.
She said: "For me, it's about understanding the difference between right and wrong.
"I have always acted with integrity... I don't think you can outsource ethics."
However, Gavin Barwell, the Downing Street chief of staff under Theresa May, said such a move would be unwise.
He said: "She will discover that when you have to sack one of your ministers - possibly a close friend - it is actually helpful to a prime minister to have an independent figure confirm that they have broken the ministerial code, rather than that having to be your judgement alone."
Does knowing the difference include adultery?
Or watching on and being complicit and supportive of a PM who was lying to colleagues, Parliament and public alike?
At least her future cabinet know that shagging about won’t cost them their job
Lurching from a disaster to a shambles, being played out in front of our very eyes.

Wasn't it you, fatticusinch, who the other day was banging on about how wonderful John Major is? You know, the married man who had an affair with a married colleague? It might have been someone else, but I thought it was you. Apologies if I'm mistaken.

Wonderful? Because I mentioned that Alistair Campbell had said that none of the current cabinet were fit enough to polish his shoes?
PMSL! Nice try though!

Indeed, Naomi. Looks like Fatti picks his heroes based on whether they are anti or pro Conservative.

Oh no, my two obsessives are at it again! Lol.
Show me in that link or anywhere in the thread where I said how wonderful John Major was?
I agreed with what he was saying about Johnson and his government was correct but that was as far as it went.
Here’s one of my posts.
/That’s your opinion New Judge.
Apart from his affair with Currie I don’t recall Major illegally proroguing parliament, lying to parliament, breaking his own laws and receiving a FPN, changing rules to cover the Paterson scandal, lying to the Queen, lying about knowing about a predatory sex pest prior to appointing him to high office nor changing the ministerial code in order to ensure cabinet are held less accountable to their colleagues in Westminster and the electorate./
The main issue for Naomi and Zacs-Master is that they can’t bear to hear a former Tory PM ripping another apart.
But as I said to you the other day Naomi, when it comes to Tory ministers and their ‘misdeeds’ with other adults you refer to it as their ‘sex lives’.
Most right minded people refer to it as infidelity, adultery and breaking marriage vows.
But then the Tories do live a bit if sleaze, don’t they? PMSL.

'I agreed with what he was saying about Johnson and his government'
i.e. you were supporting his views. You suggest Liz Truss's views are compromised because she had an affair, whilst you advocate Major, who also had an affair. Surely even you can see the duplicity / hypocrisy there?

A classic AB non-sequitur (in my case anyway, I can't speak for Naomi). I didn't voter Con at the last GE, Fatti.
And if your claiming that other political party members are 'affair free', think again.

//And if your claiming that other political party members are 'affair free', think again.//
Sigh……
For the hard of understanding, show me where I’ve made any such claim?
I’m just pointing out that when certain politicians are running for the top job they claim to be virtuous when they’re anything but.
Surely even you can realise that they’re setting themselves up for a fall by doing so?
Major is no better than Johnson or Truss in that regard, but Major wasn’t giving evidence to a PSC on Ethics that day, was he?

//Fatti, I sometimes wonder whether you think you've written something other than what you actually have (which is another TTT trait, BTW).
You wrote 'But then the Tories do live a bit if sleaze, don’t they?' implying that other parties are free from such scandal.
Basic English, Fatti.//
Lol, thanks Tor…..sorry, ZM.
Nice diversionary tactic though.
Care to name some sleaze from other parties at present or recently that matches the last 30 months?
Take your time, you’re gonna need it! PMSL

I don't mind criticism, as long as it's balanced.
As for sleaze among other parties:
Claudia Webbe (former Labour MP for Leicester East) - given a suspended prison sentence for apparently threatening to throw acid in an alleged love rival's face plus other aggressive behaviour.
Keith Vaz, who was forced to resign after allegedly offering to buy male prostitutes cocaine.
Fiona Onasanya (Labour MP for Peterborough) until found guilty of lying to the police to avoid a speeding prosecution.
Jared O'Mara Labour Party candidate / Independant - left the party in October 2017 after allegations of sexual harassment and bigotry. I understand he was also accused of submitting false expense claims worth £28,700.
Rosie Duffield (Labour whip) resigned after admitting breaking lockdown rules to meet up with her partner.
And lastly (but not necessarily finally) Jeremy Corbyn was photographed breaking the government's coronavirus "rule of six".

I agree, but were all those listed in the last 30 months?
I mean we don’t want to go as far back as Cecil Parkinson etc, let’s keep it topical. We won’t even go to Rob Roberts in 2020.
Furthermore, it seems that one or two you mentioned resigned immediately, as they ought to, especially for lying, breaking the law or ministerial code.
Why did the PM decide that such ethics or expectations did not even vaguely apply to himself over Partygate, lying to parliament or lying about Pincher and that his party had to forcibly remove him?
As I said, let’s have parity.
