Does anyone know if the Child Tax Credit payments are being issued earlier this week?

I have tried to contact them by phone but to no avail. I know the Child benefit is being paid earlier because of next Tuesday being a bank holiday. They have said the Child Benefit will be paid on the next two Friday's instead of the usual day of Tuesday. Could someone please clarify this? Ta. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!

Card or girocheque?

Card it will be this Friday for 27 Dec and the 3 Jan will be on the normal day - unless you live in Scotland when I think it will be Fri 30th

Girocheque no idea but it will be messed about by the post anyway at this time of year.
