I will add that i never turn the heating on before 7pm and it's usually switched off when i make my last brew of the evening at 10pm. I find it takes all the oxygen out of the room and makes me drowsy.
Perhaps when i get a few years older and need those afternoon naps :-)
No, temp has been up and down. But I must confess to getting some of those big fluffy man boots the other day, when on I look like I have feet the size of a bear.
A little embarrassing when going to pay for them. :0)
No, its 19.5 in this room and well into the 20's in the greenhouse even though its been very windy and tipping it down. Wind blew off afair few of my Toms. Grrr.
Always advisable to give it a short run every couple of months though. Otherwise your valves can lock up, especially if you have those horrid 3-way ones. I have two pumps, one for heat and one for water I run it a couple of times to keep the pump from seizing, gravity feed systems on the water can suffer that too.

I assume thats a gas fire so be careful Ken, make sure the flues are clear as that is a sign they are not. Often its not lack of oxygen but Carbon Monoxide - have you got a detector, if not please get one.
Yes in the morning for an hour and then the woodburner being lit lateafternoon. But I'm staying in bed for most of the day because I'm not well at the moment. Husband never feels the cold.
I always find this question a bit odd, because there seems to be a subtext that ones its on that's it. I put mine on when its needed and turn it off when its not...same with the hot water.
YMF, no, i'm talking about central heating. Always makes me feel drowsy after being on a couple of hours. That's why, no matter how cold it may be, i always try and resist putting it on too early in the day. I do have an electric blow heater which i use from time to time just to take the chill out of the air.
