How Do You Learn How To Save Money?
11 Answers
I was always told growing up that I "Have a hole in my pocket".
I can budget very well, I am good at paying my bills on time & putting money up to save.
However there then comes a point where i find myself going back into my saving to buy something, Pay a bill, Or to just find something to spend it on.
How can I work on self disipline when it comes to saving money?
Where am I going wrong? How can I learn to have better money managment skills?

Sounds like you're doing OK. As long as you've got enough to cover your living expenses why worry. If you have a bit spare & tempted to buy something ask yourself "Do I need it" & "Can I afford it" if the answer to either is "No" then don't buy it.

I don't like answering questions when I feel the person is not real. All these questions can not all be about you? You are married, have a monster of a mother in law, possibly a stepmum, you're writing a book, you're also an artist. You exfoliate too much. You can't budget and you don't know if it's time to move on in your relationship....
I think if you tell us which is really you - because most people on this site are real people who we all get to know on one level or another - you'd be made to feel more welcome by more members.
Or admit you're just lobbing stuff out there to pass the time.
Be honest

Rica1122, you can have as many thoughts as you like, of course, but the scattergun approach - firing off such a flurry of posts - means we may feel you are flitting from one random subject to another. Our responses will reflect this... 'Guarded' is one way of looking at it, I suppose - I felt 'jaded' might have reflected my viewpoint earlier.
