Fuel rods are being made by a German factory owned by a French firm, Framatome. "Advanced Nuclear Fuels" is the name of the factory, situated near Lingen, which appears to be planning a
Joint Venture mit TVEL. Who is TVEL? Rosatom, the Russian state-owned nuclear company. This is the latest from a report on 2023-04-14, with nothing reliable since.
Should such information be true, in light of Russia's invasion of the Ukraine, this business venture is scandalous.
Perhaps I have been too hasty in writing and this deal is already off.
