Coutts Have Been Telling Fibs
or at least being economical with the truth. Mr Farage's account was closed for political reasons and the views Mr Farage hold do not align with Coutt's. Going under the financial threshold had little to do with their decision. I hope he takes them to court as a result of unproved malicious allegations and slurs made against him.

The dossier also referred to accusations made by Labour MP Chris Bryant under parliamentary privilege that Mr Farage was paid more than £500,000 by the Russian state – a claim he vehemently denies.
A cowardly accusation made behind the protection of Parliamentary Privilege by a Labour MP.His allegation made in the PofW has found its way into the Coutts dossier as an excuse to blacklist him. Not only his coutt's account was closed but other banks followed suit.
No crime to be associated with a former POTUS. I believe Mr Forage actually went to the US for the purpose of a TV interview.He did endorse Trumps nomination. No crime.
Mr Farage said to be an acquaintance with Novak Djokovic. No Crime.
If Bryant is going to make these allegations about payment to Mr Farage from the Russian State then it is for him to prove in a court of law. Put up or shut up.
Bryant is the last person I would trust with the truth or facts. Not exactly a plaster saint himself for an ex vicar.
///Expenses claims scandal
Main article: United Kingdom parliamentary expenses scandal
Bryant claimed over £92,000 in expenses over the five years leading up to the 2009 scandal over MPs' expenses.[18] During that time he flipped his second-home expenses twice. He claimed mortgage interest expenses that started at £7,800 per year before rising (after flipping) to £12,000 per year. He also claimed £6,400 in stamp duty and other fees on his most recent purchase, and £6,000 per year in service charges//

//The former leader of the UK Independence Party (Ukip) said he got hold of a report from the bank’s reputational risk committee used to justify the closure via a subject access request.//
He has come out and said how he got the dossier. If he is lying then the bank can challenge him can't they. In court if necessary. He, unlike his accuser, does not hide behind parliamentary privilege

The Telegraph has published the dossier in full. I know most won't have access to it, but just to confirm ....

//I only ask because without it this is just another Farage 'claim' that he's been wronged.//
It would seem many people make claims. As pointed out earlier. His accuser is no paragon of virtue (Bryant). You can try to decry either of their claims. Depends what your agenda is and what side of the fence you sit. I prefer Mr Farage's version of events until proved differently.
