Where can you find out about any missing NI contributions with respect to the State Pension and whether or not you can make up the shortfall ?

(Note: When I enquired about filling in some gaps in my NI contributions, I was told that I could do so but, as my State Pension was already at the maximum anyway, it wouldn't actually benefit me.  Unsurprisingly, I decided to take no action!)
